The past few days have been incredibly interesting and full of activities for the Hekla Energy team! Our crew had the opportunity to visit the town of Nowe Borza, where the e.ON Group opened its first agricultural biogas plant in Poland in 2025. This exceptional initiative turned out to be much more fascinating than we had anticipated!
Biogas Plant in Nowe Borza – A Step Towards Sustainable Energy
During our visit to Nowe Borza, we had the chance to see how modern technologies can support agriculture and energy production. The biogas plant utilizes organic waste to produce biogas, which not only contributes to environmental protection but also creates new opportunities for local farmers. We witnessed firsthand how this process works in practice and its importance for the future of renewable energy sources in Poland.
Visit to the Wise Energy Photovoltaic Farm
Next, we headed to the Wise Energy photovoltaic farm, where the Sales Director of Hekla Energy, Szymon Skóra, provided us with a detailed introduction to the technical aspects of the farm’s operations. This allowed us to better understand how solar energy is converted into clean electricity. We learned about the latest technologies that enhance the efficiency of solar panels and how they can be integrated with existing energy systems.
Collaborative Efforts – Building an Energy Transfer Machine
Together, we had the opportunity to build an Einstein machine. Following the provided guidelines, our team designed and constructed a series of unique mechanisms that formed part of a device operating on the principle of dominoes. Once assembled, the machine transferred energy across a designated area. This practical experience not only expanded our technical knowledge but also further integrated our group. Teamwork, creativity, and collective efforts yielded not only new skills but also a sense of community and commitment to the development of renewable energy sources.

Our joint trip was not only an opportunity for learning but also a testament to our commitment to acting as THE GREEN POWER OF HEKLA ENERGY! Inspired by these experiences, we return to our daily responsibilities with renewed energy and motivation to take on new challenges.
